Pt 2!! How do the UC Berkeley Police interact with LGBTQ activists? Is the UCB-PD respecting the rights of the LGBTQ community?
A trans-woman activist found herself being interviewed by police after a direct-action in People's Park. The interview goes sour as transphobia seeps from the UC Berkeley police.
An attempt is made to make a formal complaint on her behalf, and to ascertain the identity of the police department members involved in the ignorant remarks . The attempt fails.
smhatman, you have issues, she did not deserve to be harassed, intimidate, threatened, and exploited for being transgender by the police. She did not deserve to have the police call her names and to laugh at her while she is crying. That is wrong and if you can't see that, then you must be mentally ill.

seriously? your right, poverty isnt a crime but trespassing is. The reason they clear people out is because they create a bad image for Berkeley, and i dont get what you are complaining about, your lucky they don't beat them on spot like many other country's would. Thank you police for doing your job.
