I love this trailer, well made and filmed and put together. I think it made a good trailer-- having important snippits without giving away the engine plot. But, the girl who played Alaska did not represent Alaska Young at all. The rest of the actors were pretty good, but not her, at all. :/

Hmm.. I always felt that Alaska was a sad kind of being, not that happy that the girl seemed to be. Sorry, but she's just not Alaska to me. And the other ones didn't exactly match their characters either :/ But otherwise it was a good trailer! ^^

I'm a film major, so I can appreciate the effort that went into this. It is very well done. I know how hard it is just to find people who are willing to be on camera, let alone be able to act. I think the editing is very nice, with some good instincts. You have a future in making videos, if you want it.

Guys, I don't think it's nice to continually keep hating on this. I get that this trailer doesn't meet expectations and you have a right to express this but saying things like "FUCK ALASKA'S AWFUL THIS IS FUCKING AWFUL" helps no one. Remember there are people on the other end of this who tried but didn't have hordes of money or anything. I'm not saying you shouldn't have an opinion: I'm just saying perhaps you should try to express yours as politely as possible. Please, DFTBA.

Forget the trailer i'm disappointed in all the non-awesome comments here. I mean Most of them are just squids of anger. Not even constructive feedback. Just typical dumb youtube comments. How disappointing.

I see the time and the commitment it took you to create this trailer. But this trailer was.. it didn't really resemble the book. This looked like a normal story about a girl who acted recklessly just because it was fun. It did not catch the meaning of Looking for Alaska at all. Alaska is desperate inside, this girl just looked a little shallow.

Meh. She wasn't a very good Alaska, no offence. It seemed a little forced and fake at sometimes and the girl who was Alaska didn't seem very, I don't know, Alaska-ish.
