@jpheitman In Halo 1, there was one KIA spartan on the Pillar of Autumn, no one knew about the fate of the rest, though she was in cryo and was later revived. Meanwhile, several dozen Spartan IIs were fighting on Reach when John left on the Pillar. A handful survived and John rescued them with Sgt Johnson in between Halo 1 and 2's games. Those fought separately from John on Earth during Halo 2. (No one mentioned he was the last Spartan during halo 2). In Halo 3, they were on a classified mission

@jpheitman Lol no they didn't all die on Reach. A handful of Master Chief's team survived and were with him on Earth, they just weren't in the games.
