As a 52 year old, conservative, life long Hoosier and one time resident of Indianapolis (where Lugar was mayor) I can unhappily say I have never voted for Lugar. "Unhappily" because for some reason known only to God, the man keeps being the Republican canidate and keeps getting elected.

How can any sane person in Indiana not see right through this guy? The man is out for himself, and he will throw a bone our way just enough that we keep him in office. Wake up. It's not about Hoosiers for Mr Lugar, it's about staying in office. We dont need a diplomat for foreign countries, we need a person who has our best interests at heart, here in Indiana. Anyone who sides Obama is part of the problem, not the solution. Lugar is toast. The tea parties will be out full force just like 2010
