2003 was a banner year for pink salmon in the Pacific Northwest. On any given day in September, schools of pink salmon would invade the tidal Fraser River in Southern BC. This is a clip of a large male that grabbed my spoon after three casts.

  • 2 years ago I caught over 100 pinks in one day and a few thousand during the duration of the run.  They will literally bite anything, including a bare hook, if it is presented to them properly.
