  • we loose our jobs and homes... our children and pets are poisoned... I smell a bloody revolution in the Moriah Conquering Wind...

  • At least someone is telling the truth (John Edwards) and did not take us into the mystical land where 36 countries (?!?!?!) are dying along with our troops. There must be dragons and wizards helping us defeat these terrorists as well, and Gandalf is on the front lines, if you ask Bush!

Thank you Senator Edwards for giving it to us straight! You have my vote!

  • alabasteroldsoul,

Thank you so much! Do you have any idea how rare it is on YT for someone to admit a mistake, even when it's proven? Good for you.

  • ...will be more careful in the future. For the record folks, Paul and Kucinich both opposed this war from the start. THEY deserve the approbation and cheerleading...hindsight is no virtue, especially when more than half a million lives have been lost and families aggrieved as a result of your actions.

  • vrede, Tho I'm an avid Paul supporter, I do usually give props to Kucinich (as well as Gravel)in my comments when I get the chance. I wasn't trying to lie, I guess I was just so outraged by the fact that some people on here are actually cheerleading for these media-ordained, CFR candidates like Edwards and Hillary when, like I said, they are running on a platform of stopping a war that THEY started, that I forgot about Kucinich. I apologize and...continued above/below

  • Please read what the brave soldiers of the 82nd Airborne have to say about the Iraq war in an op-ed first published in the NY Times, Aug. 19, 2007. Mora and Gray have since died and Murphy has been seriously wounded.

Also, read what active duty Lt. Col. Paul Yingling has to say about the mismanagement of the war: armedforcesjournal(dot)com/2007/05/2635198

  • "Iraq is suffering about double the number of war-related deaths throughout the country compared with last year." - AP, 8/25/07

US troop deaths are higher each month this year than the same month in 06.

Al Qaeda is stronger now than at any time since 2001 - CIA.

You're doing a heck of a job, Betrayus!

  • alabasteroldsoul,

That Ron Paul is "...the only candidate who was shouting from the rooftops BEFOREHAND that this war was unnecessary, unjust, unconstitutional, and an inevitable quagmire," is a flat out lie.

Dennis Kucinich has an anti-war record even more impressive than Ron Paul's. Be honorable, apologize for your error here.

  • midwestcharm: Edwards voted for the war. Right?

He's admitted making a mistake and apologized. It doesn't excuse him entirely, but I respect that he's gone that far.

  • Edwards voted for the war. Right? I'm confused, makes him sound like he's drifting with the winds.
