I haven't been pinched by mine yet but I have only had for a month or so.
I always fold the legs forward because I use a BSA Ultra Multishot -too short to fold the legs back. You could probably some spring covers and attatch them to your bipod and test it out.

@Bezemkast33 I bought my harris second hand and when I sell it, I am sure it will still fetch the same price as I bought it. I am a bit sceptical a clone would be of the same quality or would hold its price so well.

@009buster As long as it has a QD Stud fitted in the stock it should fit. Check with your local dealer.

I have this bipod but with the new rubber spring covers which makes them silent. Absolutely great bipod! Nice review :)

@eat4peace I have pinched myself a few times on returning the legs. With the spring boots can you still get pinches?
