There's a REASON there are no 'well-known' Democratic radio personalities. Conservatives OWN the meida.

FCC Chairman Mark S. Fowler began the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine in 1985.

In 1987, the Commission abolished the doctrine by a 4-0 vote. An attempt to resurrect the doctrine failed when George H.W. Bush threatened another veto.

I say RESTORE THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE!

I wouldn't go so far calling him a coward for a deferment, many people who knew they were going places used deferments to stay in-country to further their education. I believe we should have universal conscription, but I wouldn't call him a coward for one deferment.

Truth be told, his ratings have ever only gone up since the elections, and he's now more popular than ever. I have spent almost my entire lifetime in the media --major markets AND networks. . In December 2007, the FCC overturned a 30-year-old ban prohibiting a single company from owning both the local newspaper and a television station in the same community. But by that time just six or seven HUGE coxrporation --NONE of them liberal --own more than 90 percent than all media outlets in the entire nation.
