  • I thought he could only heat his home in the Winter for 4 - 6 months, I had no idea that he could supply 100% of the power needs of his home with those 10 tanks alone. Or perhaps since the solar works 30% in the Winter, that the 10 tanks is more than enough to supply the home for a year, after all in the summer and spring, he will get even more sunshine than in the winter. Very smart.

Every home a power plant! No need for fossil fuels or nuclear for power, love it.

  • very useful

  • hydrogen is just an elaborate battery. personally i'd prefer to use lithium ion because it would be much cheaper, safer, fewer moving parts, and unless proved otherwise, more efficient. i understand hydrogen eroi (energy return on investment) to be quite low and storage is problematic

  • As awesome as all this stuff is, it's slightly impractical to think everyone has room for huge hydrogen powered tanks in their backyard. It's amazing to see, though. And looking back, the first computer was no small chip.
