I'm trying this diet. I'm on day 3. I found out after I started it that it's supposedly awesful for you and it's extremely low calorie and not nutritionally sound. Oh well.. I started it so I'm finishing it. it tastes good and there's nothing wrong with eating vegetables.

Sacred Heart Medical Diet ingredients:

1 or 2 cans of stewed tomatoes
3 plus large green onions
1 large can of beef broth (no fat)
1 pkg. Lipton Soup mix (chicken noodle)
1 bunch of celery
2 cans green beans
2 lbs. Carrots
2 Green Peppers

  • I am going to start this in a couple days,, I already bought the ingredients and a new soup pot and ladle to scoop it out,, I need to lose about 60 pounds,, but will be happy to lose 20 and fit back into all the clothes I had before I quit smoking,, People who say this diet is not healthy because its not nutritionally sound,, well,, neither are the foods that caused you to get fat,,, but,, if you are using fresh and organic foods to make this soup,, it is too sound,, just take your vitamins

  • @giannisgtpomg3lol lol, that is true, all those veggies and so much air, lol SBD's are a definite side effect

  • im on this same diet now!!!, im on day 4 and weighed myself this morning and already lost 3kg, im so happy, im exercising daily and being strict with this diet

    my 3 friends r also dioin it with me, so its pretty good support, so try to get others to join you at the same time as youll stick to it, we go on facebook daily to motivate eachother, good luck to everyone on it or about to start it

    yeah some say its only gonna come back on,, but if u stick to very healthy eatring u will lose more! xo

  • @AmpJammer How tall are you? 125 doesn't sound overweight to me and you're still growing. Extreme diets like this aren't good for anyone to try because they don't usually last, that's why they say to consult with a medical professional before beginning something like this. You probably could lose that much weight, a lot of people say they lose a lot. I didn't though.

  • Are there noodles in the Lipton Soup Mix? I can only find Lipton Soup Mixes with noodles. I want to make sure I have the right ingredients. Thank you.

    One box is Chicken Noodle Soup with Real chicken Broth and the other is Chicken Noodle with Diced White Chicken Meat??

  • @blaziermissy Well, I drank lots of and only water. It was probably because I was already eating lower calorie when I tried this and was pretty stressed at the time and on top of that I'm only 30lbs over weight so percentage wise it's a good loss for 1 week.

  • Girl, you did some little something wrong if that's all you lost. Did you drink plenty of water "throughout" the day in increments and not just once or twice a day?

    It's crucial to urinate frequently....the fat loss is excreted through urine...

    But of course you've got to continually drink the water so you don't dehydrate.
