  • I don't get why anyone would have a problem with this. Both the documentary and the Bible tell the same story: the emergence of the monotheistic God. The OT clearly says that the Israelite culture struggled with worshipping other graven images such as the golden calf depicted here.

  • Of course practically speaking the Israelite people weren't monotheistic. The Tanakh and Bible make that quite clear. It's that failure that's supposed to have continually gotten them into trouble. So that is no great revelation to any practitioner or studier of the either Judaism or Christianity.

  • "The Bible's ideal of Israelites worshipping One God... wil have to wait"

Has the narrator EVER READ the Bible? Going through Samuel, and Kings, and Chronicles... Israel ENDLESSLY struggles with polytheism, worship of idols, etc...

Archeology confirms what he Bible says

  • @trailerfitter2 Antique delusions are so cute aren't they.

  • @IsolationInstigation Well said!

  • Great! Now what's next? Everything is more or less made up and now what?

  • christian bible and jews bible both have been corrupted, i may say by satanist or something, both have similarities with paganisme as it is said in the documentary called the hidden story of jesus.

  • All religions are myths. The proof is that we have so many different religions. Some are extinct and some are newly created.

Humans seek meaning, and therefore religions existence is explained via human needs.

Fables and myths fit those needs.

  • It seems like different race, tribes, or groups have there made up god. Religion has everybody brain washed. So what did the Africans call it? A bunch of fairytales.
