He does a joke in his comedy special "Planet Corduroy" Which involves a parody of the song.

Now if they had just contracted Bob the Builder none of this would have happened.

Played this to my 5yr old today,he absolutely loved it! Just proves classic, clean comedy is timeless (and to think Cribbo is still entertaining the kids today as Old Jack on Cbeebies!)

Whenever my dad and grandad do some work or redecorating, they always had a cup of tea every 20 minutes :P

It may have been an up-right piano.. You get a kind-of look-see at 0.40 as Bernard sings... '..Alright said Fred, 'ave to take the feet off. to take the feet off wouldn't tale a mo'.... Took it's feet off, even took the seat off, should 'ave got us somewhere but no.. So Fred said lets 'ave another cuppa tea and we said right-o....'

Can you tell I like this song a lot...

Bernard Cribbins for a Knighthood, he has jolly well earned it for sure.. :0)x

Well just remember it vaguely i was only 7 when it was released .i knew i was young When it was out but not long ago .(1967) Doesn't time go quickly when your getting old.

Well they say time seems to speed up after your over forty . remember reading about it and why it seems to speed up as you get older and by the time your are 60 it seem to move 3 times quicker than when your are 20 . And that's Fact .
