the lebda trade is a great trade just because of the fact that lebda is now gone and it is looking like lombardi will be healthy in time for camp and the Connolly signing is good because if he dosen't work out he can be traded

Cody Franson will with out a doubt be one of Toronto's better defenders next year. However, I do believe someone on the leafs line up has to go probably komisarek. I wouldn't be surprised if it were GUNNARSSON. Fact of the matter in my eye the back end is getting crowded and we could use a top flight center man. I just don't think Connolly is it. Granted he is a very good player, and he will help the leafs, but in no way would I put him up for an all-star nod. Still hope I'm wrong for tims sake

and now it sounds like Lombardi may be getting healthy and be ready for camp is the depth at center just got that much better.

we'll see how Connolly plays as a Leaf, Burke may end up going after Parise next summer since he's only signed for 1 year with the Devils nd he seems like a player Burke would like to have play with Kessel.
