@jessiecastro71 To change the speed and pressure you use the dials on the left hand side of the Cricut.
To know when to change the speed and pressure depends on which materials you are cutting which can be confusing!
To help you out we have created a cutting guide. It lets you know what blade depth, pressure, and speed you should have depending on which material you are cutting.
