On the first anniversary of 11 September a leading Palestinian, Edward Said, has warned the US against taking further military action against Iraq. In an interview for BBC HARDtalk, Mr Said told Tim Sebastian that many Arab countries are keen to seek a diplomatic solution to the Iraqi crisis. Professor Said, who for many years been a spokesman in America for the Palestinian cause, said: "I think it's possible to salvage something from the ruins, but it cannot be done quickly unfortunately, and it cannot be done by military means and that's what makes me so despondent."
@mosti1987 it's hardtalk. All interviewees get his treatment.

@joehampton it's not a regular interview. That's why it's called 'HARDtalk"

Edward Said, a true icon of peace with a great understanding of the connection between the past and present events. Too bad the media did not emphasize on his vision. This interview was only watched 487 times, isn't this pretty obvious that the US-Iraeli agenda influenced such a behavior?

While I admire Edward Said and his dedication to the Palestinian cause, I wouldn't go so far as to call Tim Robertson a Zionist douche-nozzle. To my opinion, that's the whole point of HardTalk: the host is supposed to be provocative and rather rude to the interviewee to incite an emotional discussion. Plus, Tim carries himself in a very similar manner whilst conducting the Doha Debates that are being held in Qatar, which I would recommend watching as well.

That is one of the most biased interviews I have ever seen. Absolutely disgraceful. I admire the way Said controlled his temper. I would not have been so cool.

Tim is a rude, ignorant douchebag, and if I see him I would beat him for this interview

It is so sad to watch this interview, this zionist BBC Tim the host has failed to address the real problem in the middle east. Israel is a terrorist racist state.
Israel does NOT WANT PEACE.
