A recent trip to Dania FL provided another opportunity to dive off John Lloyd State Park. The reef isn't that colorful, but the wildlife is. You'll see large angelfish (4:42), surgeonfish, butterflies, a trunkfish (6:50), hihat, hogfish, and wrasses. A Gray Triggerfish (8:50) became my constant companion circling me for most of the dive, but I had overlooked a nurse shark hiding on the bottom behind a colorful Yellow Tang and Queen Angelfish (10:06). A very comfortable and enjoyable dive off the beach at about 20 foot depth. Typical visibility is 30'-50'. Used a Canon HG10 in an Aquapac camcorder bag with a custom flange to center the camera to the bag lens. Doesn't allow use of viewfinder, so I simply point it in the general direction to get some decent shots for editing.
