This little bird visits my backyard nearly every morning. I was finally able to capture a few seconds of him on video. I apologize for the shaky camera work.

  • OOOOH adorable! A common Yellow Throat? Is that from the wren family? I am off to look him up. I've never seen one. Where do you live? I am going back to your channel page to see if it tells me. - roc

  • @popparoc46 My bird book says the Yellowthroat is a warbler. He sure likes to sing in the mornings. I live in Southern California. I don't get a very large variety of birds where I live, but I get such a kick out of watching the ones that visit my backyard.

  • Cute birdie!

    :-)

  • He is cute and FAST. I have been trying to take his picture for over a year. I am so happy I finally got the little bugger :-)

  • @ohjoannabanana I looked up the Yellowthroat... so cute!

  • Thanks for letting me know. It looks okay for me now too. Maybe my internet was just acting up.

  • You're right, the boys are always so much prettier. Unfair! ;)

  • It played fine for me!

  • I just watched this video on here and it isn't playing properly. It plays smooth over on LV. I might have to take this down and reload it.

  • Hi Beth, I'm pretty sure it is a boy bird. I think the females are less colorful.
