i got the same problem on its firt day. it stuck and i am helpless . two hours passed but still no responce.

I had the same problem, but it was only because SD card was not properly inserted.

God please make me deaf so I dont have to listen to this crap. You can use Youtube but cant use the internet for a bit of research?

This is a known problem with refurbish 510 units. U need to contact TomTom: 866-486-6866.
The map set they provided with the refurb units are "bad". They will provide a new set of maps to your TomTom HOME account.

Besides the issue shown there are also a lot of other problems - bluetooth paring, power loss, deadlocking. I did search the internet and tried new firmware, updates, flash clean tool provided on forum and TOMTOM but none had worked. Map issue may be fixable but others are not, I found most posts regarding the same issue such as bluetooth ended up with no solution and pain only. If there are so many complains posted on web with the same issues the only conclusion is TOMTOM has BAD quality.
