what about real mixing vinyl? you seem to overlook that completely?!
Teaching the youth how to press buttons, auto sync, and utilize the digital aspect of mixing is only pushing the future contenders of the DJ world further and further away from the roots my man...
In my perspective, I would encourage you to lower your prices, and offer a broader spectrum of DJ tools, INCLUDING vinyl mixing. That seems to be falling out of the community these days.

@DarkMinimalSubWeight definitely teach beat matching and general overall fundamental concepts of the craft. Wether with vinyl, controllers, laptops, cdjs etc its about the essence of the craft. There is always a new "tool" to accomplish the purpose and goal of a dj. A good DJ could use 2 tapedecks to rock the crowd and accomplish what the DJ's job is. Our goal is to teach this method and help students begin to develop their craft.

DO YOU TEACH DJING WITHOUT A LAPTOP? I SAW YOU DOUBLE BASS BEFORE. ARE YOU RELATED TO P0GMAN?
DUBMACHINERY 1 month ago 2
@DUBMACHINERY yes. some classes just use tech's and cdj's and mixers. its less about gear and more about philosophy and and techniques that could apply to all platforms.
