  • Anatidaephobia - The fear, that a duck is always watching you.

  • @TheBlueReptile they dont "make it up".

  • hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia - the fear of long words.

Do the guys who make this stuff up enjoy screwing with people?

  • Phobaphobia = fear of phobias. get your head around that mindfuck.

  • @OlleLindestad Hippos are big and monsters are scary, so you could say that everything leading up to "-phobia" means "big scary long words".

  • phobias dot com doesn't work :(

  • I still love Anatidaephobia. Which is the fear that a duck is watching you.

  • @anniebabez1 Not very, it's obviously on purpose. :P "sesquipedalian" does pertain to long words, but the rest is nonsense. What do hippos and monsters have to do with anything?

  • @anniebabez1 Its not ironic if its done on purpose.
