@dreamcatchertwice And it wasn't just the Pharisees remember, as you saw in my previous post. Nor anything to do with their 'selfish traditions'. He said it to the Jews as well.
@dreamcatchertwice No, the Pharisees criticized him for not washing his hands before eating. And he defended himself by attacking them for not killing disobedient children according to the holy commandment: “He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.” (Matthew 15:4-7)
He was calling them bad people for not killing their children in response to their criticism of him. That isn't their 'tradition', that is a that he promoted.
@TheTimbalanders And youre still wrong. Read the beginning of the chapter. The Pharisees were being rebuked for their "traditions". Jesus used examples of the law like he always did. he did not attack them. get over it. he was blasting them for their selfish traditions, calling them out on their lawlessness. He never said kill your children.
Search the scriptures honestly. Jesus only commanded to love. Read that one John 13:34. Ive entertained you enough. Jesus is love dude. Life. Not death
Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children according to Old Testament law. Mark.7:9-13 "Whoever curses father or mother shall die"
Jesus is criticized by the Pharisees for not washing his hands before eating. He defends himself by attacking them for not killing disobedient children according to the commandment: “He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.”
@TheTimbalanders I will entertain you. What verse in any Bible does Jesus charge us to "kill" our children, for any reason? I am sure you are highly mistaken. Talking to his disciples he charged one of them to not worry about his fathers funeral Matt 8:21-22 Only scripture remotely close is Mark 10: 28-29. But you are alleging that Jesus says "kill" something?
@dreamcatchertwice "Im not going to debate theology with you" - Thats because there is nothing you can say. How can you defend your beloved 'Jesus' when he commanded people to kill their own children immediately if they disobey/insult them?
Is that 'love' to you? Would you kill your own child if they did that?
This isn't me ranting. This is IN the Bible. I can show you the verses.

How much clearer does it need to be?

@dreamcatchertwice You're right, he needs love from Jesus. Love like 'killing your own children if they disobey you' as Jesus said.
Love like killing people who are homosexuals, followers of other religions and people who work on a Sunday. As the Great 'God' commanded in the Bible.
It isn't real. Grow up
