@daichiran Both Charice and Suju were guests on the show and both made a name for themselves through their talents. Ellen did not discovered her first, for it was really her mom who first recognized her talent, then many people noticed her, after that False Voice, then the Swedish team who asked her to record some songs, Star King who invited her to guest in the show & Coolsmurf who uploaded the video of her visit there Ellen opened the door for her, Oprah let her in & DF nortured her

Suju back in 2007 is not yet THAT popular internationally, I don't think they've had their first full concert back then...nor a lot of people outside of Korea probably know the show Star King. When I chance upon that video..I neither know Charice, Star King nor Super Junior and I became a "fan" since then.

if you think about it's actually suju who made her known: super junior is very popular and youtube was the only source for international fans to watch their idol on shows and stuff, Charice was on star king on the same day that the entire 13 member was on and obviously fans are gonna watch it and then BAM! CHARICE!

The place where she live is so reminiscent before I left Philippines and migrated to United States. And to remember that is full of colors: Even my parents are poor, we dedicate our lives with hardship and happiness, contented to small things that brought me and my family with smiles and togetherness. Now that I'm United States, I myself also want to fulfill my goal as what this song Charice meant. Very uplifting that I'm about to cry remembering my past.
