@jimusgrimus wow, thats a real heavy question..........I was in the Marines, and I trained to fight to the death, but man I'm so glad that I didn't have to actually go through with it........though I am haunted by my military experience.

Jimi Hendrix was not in Vietnam. He was in the 187th Airborne Battalion of the 101st Airborne Division in Germany in the mid-60s. He was a paratrooper. He was against the war in VietNam, but he was never against the soldiers who fought there. He was one of us.
