oh, careful there about transcribtion！
biru ビル as a short form for birudingu (japanese pronounciation of building) means building in japanese and is quite often used instead of the word tatemono often to refer to newer (multistorey) buildings
or it could be the japanese reading of the english word bill (but I guess a bill for your pub adventures is nothing to be overly happy about.. :D )
