I was there. I saw first hand the absolute love & happiness between them. I know if I comment on the nay-sayers it will only fall on deaf ears...but trust me, this is one neat, special family inside & out. Their life has been an open book...& they've made it! Even with all their ups & downs...I'm sure any of us would be hard pressed to have lived in the spotlight as they have & yet their unconditional love prevailed. Way to go Gene & Shannon! It was a magical evening I'll never forget.

I'm thinking Gene's smart enough to stay married 'til death. He waited long enough, and took it seriously. Gene would be the first one to admit what a loser he would be if he ever divorced her. I think they'll last forever.
