One of the scariest days racing I've experienced. Almost an hours driving on my first stint, with decreasing visibility and cars ploughing in to the walls with alarming regularity. 2 spins and a trip on the grass for me as well. 2nd stint was going fine, the rain had eased but the cars were still crashing. Behind the Safety Car we concertinaed up approaching Copse and had to brake hard. Matt Ulwin in his BMW 320 was checking his pit board and when he looked back he could probably see my eyes popping out in the rear view mirror at the inevitable. Both cars locked together ans spun passed the Caterham in front and ended up parallel parked adjacent to the tyre wall. My car stunk of fuel and I was out of there like a shot with a bruised back. Gutted the tape ran out cos I forgot to switch it to long play!
