  • Pretty sure you aren't stroked to a 306... a 306 is just a 302 bored .030 over.

  • @AaronR15shows how much you know.. stroker kits have nothing too do with having the block bored out, they utilize an aftermarket crankshaft that allows the combustion chamber to expand due to increasing the amount of travel the pistons have..

    look it up.

  • from wikipedia - A Stroker kit is an aftermarket assembly that increases the displacement of a reciprocating engine by increasing the travel of the piston. This is done by using a different crankshaft where the crank pin is moved further away from the center of the axis of rotation of the crankshaft. While this increases displacement and torque it can potentially lower the limit to which the motor can rev safely compared to the stock configuration.

  • @604KINGfiveohh sounds accurate. Wikepedia is an unreliable source because anyone can write what they want on there. People vote on definitions, not always accurate. I'm not saying you are wrong, but you should use a better source next time.

  • @lxmustanglx I hear ya.. However, I wouldnt have posted the info if it wasnt right.

  • Not a bad car man, I've got an 88 T-Top myself. I've heard they made more in the 800 number in 88 though, but no one seems to know for sure.

  • @codavied i ordered a Marti report, it shows a break down of everything from how many were produce the same color, right down to every last accessory. 281 t-top cars(the number could be 281 gt's, ? amount of coupes. im not sure), this car is however 1 of 1 with the original color and options. but the report says 281, ive read 281 in acouple different books of the history of mustangs and foxbodies and theres acouple forums with the number 281 be tossed around.. i dont think anyone really knows

  • Nice fox man that color is gorgeous! I love my Mustangs, swear I wish I was born in the back seat of a foxbody. Then my life would be better, lol.

  • hey, question?? Does your stang ever smoke when you really get on it?? My shit is smoking like a bitch when I get on it?? The motor was just rebuilt? Thanks

  • @MrSilent937 thank bro.. chassis is braced everywhich way, weld in full length subframe connectors, lower chassis brace, strut tower brace and k member brace.. when it comes off the road for the winter i plan on installing the cage and rear strut brace, cause i didnt want to rip the interior out till i had to.. goin to film later today, should have a new either tonight or tomorrow!
