Halloween Collingdale PA 2008

Each year John & Donna do a 'Movie Monster Madhouse' for Halloween in Collingdale, Pennsylvania. Self-constructing the costumes and elaborate yard design sets and having about 28-30 of their friends participating to bring to life the some of the more famous, yet rarely imitated horror icons like The Red Pyramid from 'Silent Hill', Thomas Hewitt from 'Texas Chainsaw', Jason from 'Friday the 13tth', the 'Scream' killer, The Jackyl from '13 Ghosts', Jigsaw from 'Saw', Julie from 'Return of the Living Dead 3' and a gaggle of zombies.
This clip is the impromptu parade down MacDade Blvd. from 2008.

A DVD was created from a special edited documentary created by John consisting of a compilation of clips from the previous years up to and including 2008, as well as newly recorded material, to be given out to the partiipants as a token of gratitude. This particular clip is from the end of the DVD so, we decided to upload this clip and the end credits so everyone involved can shine with pride when they show their friends and know just how much their work was appreciated.

It has grown to be quite the event and if you are ever in Collingdale, PA on Halloween...
...listen for the screams and chainsaws and be sure to stop in. That is, of course, if your brave enough.
They hardly ever even get the chance to give their candy out....people just seem to scream and run.
