I think the purpose of the video is being missed, just like the rest of the instructions. (Washing it off, using sun block)This is for like hyper pigmentation or acne scars, freckles, evens out your skin tone. I don't think it's meant to make your whole face "whiter" the exfoliation will brighten your skin, I'd think you would need something stronger than lemon to change actual shades  though. I could be totally wrong, MHO.
