  • @theapothem1 the motor was originally rated at 3hp (continuous industrial duty)

    It can put out 20-30hp peak depending on the controller.

    This setup was putting out a max of about 4kw (6hp)

    it's an Advanced DC 6.7" motor, very similar to a golf kart one. I think this one was used in some industrial application

  • how much throttle did it give? on battery or 22ov? is it rendable?

  • I was running it on a battery pack of about 40 volts.

    This went up to full throttle briefly, which gives about 3000rpm at the motor.

    It was then put on a boat and driven around :)

  • i tried out my 150hp merc in a bin full of water like that - as soon as i put it in gear the bin was completely obliterated and about 100 litres of water went everywhere!
