Thats right! After the wars were over and the fur bearing animals were either pushed to near the brink of extinction (or simply out of vogue in Europe) and the early wars ended, they had no "use" for the Aboriginal person. sad but true in that dated archaic mindset that surely must have been de rigeur in in its time.

TT is having to "like" this vid while hating the truth of it. It is so sad to see this be a right/left political issue.

It is a matter of national honour to straighten this out. Canada should be a world leader in resolving the issues left over from european expansion. Instead we are shamefully among the least honourable.

Excellently done video, I just wish it didn't need to be hooked together with union issues to get the attention it so desperately deserves.

its sad that many white high school students are not taught about canadian history, i talked to kids i work with and they have no idea what thier country is built on

So far the best video that tells people SOME of the historic colonized attempts to get rid of the Native people of North America. So many wrongs have been done to us Native peoples and strange as this may sound alot of North American people do not know their own historic history of North America. Why??
