  • Do u know any Jain temple/derasar in Nordic countries (stockholm,oslo) ?

  • the kataha sounds like buddhism a bit, but i thin jainism predates buddhism. sorry if am wrong, anyway the chants of jainism sounds nice. i love the sounds.

  • No they are not atheists! they believe as I do, there is a divine conscious energy in the universe from which all life evolves, We, all life forms are on a path (no different than a child grows, changes, becomes aware) to waking up!!

    "Rise above your animal nature"

You are part of this divine nature, join us, become strong in truth, compassion, brotherhood!

  • Jain's do not believe in any particular God. In their prayers they worship people who have attained "moksha" (salvation). They worship them asking for guidance so that they can also attain moksha.

  • Parsvanath == Tirthankar not Bhagwan.

  • jains believe in non-violence in the strictest form. Ahinsa (non-violence) is the biggest religion. everything happens at three levels:

    Man (what you think)

    Vachan (What you speak)

    Kaya (what you do)

To understand jainism better, please find a good guru.

Jainism has given me answers 2 almost all my questions about life, etc and i dnt just say that coz i m jain. I consider myself fortunate 2 b born in a jain family and wud encourage ppl 2 go deeper and see for themselvs hw it shows THE WAY!

  • Jain believe that universe itself is eternal and will remain eternal, there is no creator/maintainer/destroyer God. Every substance behaves as per its nature. The philosophy is to understand the nature of the soul and act in sync with it.

  • Jains believe in no God or Gods. They are atheists.

  • what do jains believe, I tried to look them up on wikipedia but didnt really understand it do they worship hindu gods? sorry if I sound ignorant

  • he is singing one of jain prayer which is suppose to b great prayer in which he is worshipping all gods n monks
