2011 Kia Venga. Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour.
Its engine is willing but makes itself heard. In the occasional traffic gaps, I needed to use full throttle to keep up with the briefly manic pace of Italian drivers. The six-speed manual gearbox, though, is light and quick to use.
Buyers of this car will particularly appreciate its looks, space (the luggage area has adjustable double-deck shelving), commanding driving position, ergonomically sensible dashboard and bright cabin ambience, especially with the sliding panoramic roof fitted to the poshest version, the Venga 3. When reverse is engaged, the Venga 3 also has a camera that relays images to a small screen hidden inside the rear view mirror. No UK Vengas will be supplied with sat-nav, however.
The Venga has a relatively long 8ft 7in wheelbase and is 6ft 3in tall, so packaging is impressive for a car that is only 13ft 4in long. Rear seats can be moved longitudinally or folded into the floor to form a flat surface and dogs will woof approval.
Safety systems include half a dozen airbags, electronic stability aids, traction control and electronic brake force distribution -- a Euro NCAP five-star rating is expected.
One of the Venga's biggest pluses is that it comes with a seven-year, 100,000-mile warranty (now standard with all Kia cars in Europe). If the car is sold after 18 months, the next owner can top it up to seven years. No need to trust to luck, then.

@fanowner12 It's more MPV-ish than the Picanto and easily holds four grown people, unlike the Picanto where it's a bit tight. Overall the car is much nicer than the Picanto which is a bit cheap.

How much bigger is this than the Picanto? We don't have this or anything related to it made by Kia in the U.S.
