Part 1 of 6: Jazz Composer and Performer Dr. Nelson Harrison explains the metaphysics of music. Music can be "a metaphysics based on the cooperation between what we know and what we don't." Dr. Harrison holds a Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology, and has toured as a trombonist with the Count Basie Orchestra. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology. Host is Pittsburgh Theosophical Society President Andy Nesky.

Dr. Harrison has a brilliant mind. Unlike most Westerners, he is able to think holistically, suspend objective judgments that stimies creativity, and use his curiousity to push the envelope beyond what is known. Thank you for the 6 part video series.

@rjohson First things first I'm not worried about all people. I understand groups of people have their own interest. History has proven this out especially the past 600yrs til now.This is something that black people don't understand but Koreans Mexicans whites including those calling themselves Jews Chinese Japanese and etc get.Their all concern with the their interest for their survival.We are for all people except ourselves. Then we wonder why everybody walks over us while where loving them.

@rjohson Christianity Islam and Judaism was brought into Africa. They are copied stolen and plagiarized version of Ancient Africans ways of life. The people who brought them into African brought their version and interpretation of what they thought we were doing. Who taught you that about the only true god? Was it Africans in Africa in the past 600yrs or was it Europeans and Arabs hell bent on conquering the mind and land!

Christanity Islam and judism was not brought into Africa it came out of africa along with many other false gods. the only true god is the god of abraham isaac and jacob. you dont even live in africa and u asking we dont speak their dielect. Africans enslaved other africans all through history and still continue to this day.

@rjohson What god do the majority of black people on this planet answer too? Does this god look like us? Who gave us this god? Why did they give us this god and for what purpose? What gods didn't African people respond to before Islam Christianity and Judaism were brought to Africa? Why don't we speak African dialects or have African names? Why do we see the world thought the eyes of whites and Arabs instead of our own historical ancestral African eyes?

@rjohson We will be killed off or our numbers drop to minimal if we don't take a stand against these other groups. Let them know we had enough and we are ready to kill for our survival and interest. Once they realize that and see action on it. They will see us in a different light. Instead of the universal people for everyone and loving everyone while they are loving and killing us to death.

@rjohson I don't follow man made religion or god given to me by the enemies of black people. I understand history and life because I study and experience these two on a daily basis. History rewards those who studies it.. If black people study history we will realize that in history that people who have be oppressed enslaved or taken capitve in the end their capture end up getting ridding of them or killing them off.

@arronnov its good that you do care about the survival of black people, and thats only natural, your assumming that others think its a crime or sin for you to care about the intrest of black people, take that chip off your shoulder. believe me aint a dam thing gonna happen to black people, unless god allows it to happen, just as he allowed us to go into captivity in the wilderness of north america, this is why i tell you that you donot understand life history or religion.
