Battle starts at 2:24. (No Damage)

The final battle with the demon king himself. The first phase is fairly simple; he'll block all of your attacks no matter what unless you're lucky enough to land a hit or two before he retaliates. When you shield bash his slashes and attack one time (only once) he'll slash again, and if you do this four times in a row he'll fall and allow you to slash him up. After a few hits, he'll call a lightning storm to supercharge his blade. In this phase, he'll use electric skyward strikes to attack you from afar and also will charge into your face. The way to attack him is to steal his thunder (literally) by raising your sword when the lightning strikes and swinging it back at him to stun him. After a few hits, he'll fall on his back; perform a finishing strike to deliver the final blow. It usually misses the first time.

After the battle, he'll make an allusion to a certain villain in future games..and is then sealed into the Master Sword.

  • The whole battle is so well done.

  • The Legend of Zelda continues to be a game where the puzzles are difficult, not the fights.

  • The first time I fought this guy, I hate to admit it, but I thought the fight was too easy. Maybe I'm crazy, but it seemed too simple for the demon king.

  • Link , ... what is that gay move? 2:01

  • @FreemanVonDon I've played already and I like it! xD

  • @TheJellyfishStudio3 you got those backwards SS is the prequel to all of the other Zelda games

  • sigh ageist Demise knowledge is power and if you have the knowledge he has no power

there is not even a directional slash requirement like Ghirahim to easy

  • Is it me, or does Demise look like Kefka's first form in the final battle in FF6?

  • @lucascheather02 Try viewitiful joe on gamecube.

  • @frostare What I mean is that The Legend of Zelda has become an easy game with battles, even though in some cases as the Dark Nuts Twilight Princess fights are difficult. But in the case of Bosses, since The Ocarina of Time, where it follows the same rule: you discover the trick to defeating the boss, you win easily.

  • @lucascheather02 Not for me but I see your point. Still this was one if not the hardest Zelda 3D battles ever, and you ought to play Zelda 2.
