The difference between an Atheist and a Christian is actually quite small. Both of them disbelieve in thousands of Gods. The real difference is that Atheists reject one more god than Christians.
What many Christians fail to understand is that an atheist's reasons for not believing in the Christian God are not that different from a Christian's reasons for not worshiping Thor, Apollo or Shiva.

@inquiry10 I can't remember where I first read the general idea. I think it might have been in a discussion about Dawkins.

Actually, the "fountains of the deep" mentioned in the Bible were well known fresh water springs near the shore. "The Deep" basically meant any water too deep to see through.
Claiming that deep sea springs were the ones discussed in the Bible is a comical rationalization with no actual basis in Biblical scholarship. It implies there was mystery in the text that those for whom it was written would not have seen.
everyone should view this and remember that once that all christianitywas the catholic church. yes briother baptist joihn baptist did not create the baptist sect of christianity, it's an offshoot of catholicism. these guys are yuor bringers of yuor religion. if yuo are a not catholic it's probly because your ancessors lived in england at the uime when the king of englandf could not get a divorce and susquencly started the church of england

@otherworldtrader1 It's surprising just how many people are completely ignorant of the church's history.

You should pray to the one true God. You should pray from your heart. You should ask for repentance, confession of sins, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Ask for eyes to see Him and ears to hear Him. Ask for a hunger and thirst for His word.
Ask for discernment which will let you know what is from God and what is not from God. This will let you know when God is speaking to you because it will line up with His word and morals in the bible.
Then seek Him everyday.

Wow. Three is a massive claim. Do you have any evidence that Jesus is the one true god?
Also, I think an omniscient God knows what it would take to convince me he exists and thereby save my eternal soul. He knows where I live.
You think the Bible is a moral book? Have you read it?

Okay, I'll have to be completely direct and thorough. Dropping to your knees and praising the one true God, would be the best thing to do.
I asked is that a serious question because its comprehensible or at least should be that God created morality so it is something from Himself.

OK, which God should I drop down and pray to, what is the correct way to pay, and what should I ask for?
God created morality? So whatever God says is moral? If you were absolutely sure God visited you one night and told you to hack your neighbours head off, would you do it? If so, you have no morality, if yes when whatever god says is moral and its all completely arbitrary.
