If anyone needs chord charts/tabs, please let me know.
Sorry for the mirrored image - I've fucking had it with trying to find a free way of doing this. Anyway, enjoy.

  • what is that thing you have on your thumb?

  • @BrianTheDuke hey, its a thumbpick... don't really use them much anymore but it helps prevent your hand from getting tired out (i.e. you can play with your thumb parallel to the string instead of having to hold the tip perpendicular to the string)

  • nice job. your good and this is a cool tutorial of some tough technique... might want to get the chord names and string and fret names down a little before you record, so your not kind of struggling to name them... but otherwise really cool... thanks a lot... did you learn this just by ear, or did you have some other source

  • yeah it was all by ear - not many tabs for elliott's harder stuff.

i know i'm not very snappy with the theory stuff but i tried my best to name-ify it a bit. though when you're in altered tunings i guess they don't mean much anyway, it's more just seeing the fingerings.

  • Good fucking job man! Keep up the amazing work.

  • Start out with C-A-D-G-B-D so you don't have to tune down in the middle of song. The fingering adjustments are easy. Thanks for the tut bro! My fav Elliott Smith song by far.
