James, Kirk, Lars, Cliff (and later Jason) were always really close to Debbie, the Abono Family, friends and also to Possessed. They would come up every-so-often way back in the day. We would party our $%^%^ off!! We used to practice in the Downstairs room of Deb's big-ole' Pinole House and it was our kick-it pad. Kirk actually lived right around the corner from my "other" house in El Sobrante. I used to ride my skateboard to his house. Metallica have always been super-cool in every way.
