This is definitely an alternate take or a demo, cause the version I've always heard was a little more rocky and noisier at their noisey additions

Cara fico +/- mas o foda q é uma musica mais punk sakas e fizeram isso n fica legal para o movimento maaassss fazer o q :S

I'm OK with this. But I must admit that here, SY kinda sounds like one of those really awful bf-gf duos: Matt & Kim, She & Him, Mates of States, etc. Still, SY manage to pull it off much less cheesily than those paltry performers ever could.

@cumbiacannibal31 lol what a pretentious fuck

golldang, this is very cool! I love how they blend in the original tune like a noise burst coooool.
-
love it. why cover something and do it just like it was originally?

I think this is hysterical, as a True Old Dolls fan. It woulda fit right in at the Broadway Central Hotel.

Instead I really like this version, is very personal, they didn't want to clone the song but they did it according to his own feeling .... and I say this as a great fan of the New York Dolls, Johnny Thunders and heartbrakers. Ultimately I followed the entire career of Johnny and this cover doesn't seem an affront.

I always loved Sonic Youth, but this NYD cover is horrible. Looks more like a Vaselines' song.
I hoped at 2:03 for something better, but it was just a moment.

100 % pure shit
To every single one of you who hated this song: you're all fucking idiots. Sonic Youth took it and made it their own, for OUR time (hence the band's name, if that's not too much for you to process)--I suspect that all detractors are quite elderly indeed, because only the truly elderly--of body, spirit, mind and heart--can turn away from the different or the new or the unfamiliar. Where's the generosity, the capacity for exploration?

I like Sonic Youth, but really, they don't have a Dolls attitude... ._."
