@SixHundredHP Haha! I hope you're kidding.

I think Israel is doing that.

14 hours is how long you'd typically leave your car overnight.

They need to take inspiration from Tesla. Who wants this ugly econobox.

That will obviously get better. It depends on the voltage; charging from a 120 volt outlet will obviously take much longer than a 240 volt outlet.
Tesla has chargers that support 450 volts which cuts charging time down to about half an hour.
Electric is the future, just not yet.

wouldn't want to take that car on an expressway in the USA with all the bigass suv's and semis. pretty cool concept with just plugging in a car like an electric appliance though.
now, instead of paying for gas bills your electric bill will be through the roof.

Thy shud add a solar panel roof

@Gocajoca Well it depends! In some places, electricity is created with renewable energy (windmills, solar panels) or by nuclear power plants! :)

all electric cars may seem cool and all. But what if you accidently forget to charge it and wake up on your way to a business meeting with a top client 30 miles away. What do you do?

i think hydrogen should be the future but even then the prosses of getting it is a pain. but it's still more convinient if your going for long distances to just fill up in a few minutes then it is charging for a few hours. the fcx clarity is by far the most practical of all these futuristic cars.
