  • I've had fibro since 1988.

I want the government out of this illness.

I want to grow my own cannabis.

    I want some house plants.

    I want some good sleep.

I want to not feel like an outlaw.

I want to be able to talk freely about a plant.

I want my Dr. to be free to help me.

We need the government out of control of the medicine that helps us.

    LET US GROW IT.

  • Have you ever experienced what the pain would be like without smoking pot everyday? Perhaps it would be a lot worse.

  • I live with FM myself and cannabis is the only medicine that helps me to have a life. Its also hard to meditate on pharmaceuticals.

  • i have had to sit back and watch my mother suffer with FM for many years!! sometimes i walk in her house and she just brakes down crying, when she gets a flare-up she is bed-bound for days/weeks at a time, opiods do not agree with my mother so she takes no pain relief for her FM which is shocking, i think my mother would absolutely 100% benefit from medical cannabis used with a vapourizer.

i think cannabis should be legal for those who truly need it, its been proven to have many medical uses!!??

  • i've been plagued and did all the meds..nuerontin was ok..tramadol helped some. i like pot, and i gotta say after doing a cup of " shrooms" each afternoon for about a month i no longer need much of anything anymore and i'm not near as miserable..

  • @tonester1964 well, long ago as a kid, each time i tried it i got severly depressed and felt terrible. that is why i although i have had fibro for ten years i never thought to try it.

its a long story how i ended up trying it..but i feel it is helping me save my life. for the first time in ten years, i can sleep. i used to wake up in the morning , worse then when i went to bed...but now i don't..it is a miracle..i wish to god i had not been so afraid of it and tried it again sooner.

  • Not for me I had my fist ever panic attack within a hour of smoking marijuana (although I had smoked it before on occasion), from then on was having 4 or 5 very bad panic attacks every day, lost my job and later developed depression which often is comorbid. I still have them occasionally even after 20 years have passed. Also had severe paranoia when smoking marijuana.

  • @layla89james

I have a friend who is suffering and has missed work for almost 3 weeks now. She's covered by our company's medical leave policy but she claims this is worst she's ever felt. She's a religious person so I'm sure she will be opposed to my suggestion. I'm wondering how is it working for you?

  • i've had it for ten years..fibro..that is....and been suicidal for most of that time due to the pain.

I have never done 'drugs' in my life...i don't drink either or smoke cigarettes so i was scared...but i finally tried it this week..and i feel better. it might be a coincidence, but i am going to keep using it for a while to see what happens..wish i had tried this sooner.

  • I wish I was well enough to move to a legal state.

  • Ive been diagnosed w/ Fybro 12 years now. I am on 3 different narcotics for pain management. And the pain still persists. I smoke some when I can & personally, it makes me feel better. I wish I had a dr who could prescribe mj for me. Because, I am really not sure of the dosage I should be taking. I just smoke until I feel it is enough. Is there anyone out there that can give me some further tips, I would appreciate it. thx.

  • im a 26 year old male who also has fibro. im finding it common that most are treated with Cymbalta. my doctor will not prescribe me opiods but thats fine because i'd rather smoke a joint. I recently told my general doctor and specialist that I use marijuana for pain. They were not against it at all, they agreed that yes it is a natural painkiller. Oh god and the MIGRAINES! the only cure for that is marijuana!
