Fox News anchor Shepard Smith recalls how he got noticed working as a local reporter in Orlando. The story involves puppies, explosions, and Mel Gibson.

In the early 90s, Smith was a new reporter at WCPX (now WKMG) in Orlando when the city blew up its city hall for Lethal Weapon 3.
