A shot of the edge-blending power of Warpalizer in my gaming rig with Warpalizer edge blend software and 3 projectors running Crysis 2. • Awesome work my friend. I have a new screen setup being built by northern flight sims. A triple faceted screen for PS3 and Forza, and then a curved screen that slides over that one for PC and Warpalizer.. Best of both worlds. :). Have you seen my thread at inside sim racing forums? I've also got dbox now. All because of your inspiration! Thanks.

  • @mayamanign Good to hear my friend! I've seen some of your videos and saw your post at AVS too :) Glad that you've found my vids to be of some use :) You've must have spent quite a tidy sum by now :O :)

  • What is your seating distance from this screen?

Can more than 1 person sit in the sweet spot and still have the same experience, or is warpalizer really only good for one person?

Thanks. Trying to figure out what part of my basement I need to section off to get this to work.

  • @elmalloc My seat is approximately 2.8m away from the centre of the screen. The screen is about 3m wide. You may not need such a large screen as you can scale it down to a table top size and sit nearer to the screen. The net effect is the same as far as field of view is concerned! Ideally, the middle is the best place to be though I have observed my friends driving when I sat on a far side of the screen, it still looked ok still.

  • Inspirational indeed!!!

  • damn... make a vid with skyrim if you have it. it would be crazy shit to see skyrim on a screen like this hah

  • @yksimtoo My home theater projector is 4.4 meters wide, so I'm used to large images.

Question. What do you gain if you use THREE 1080p Projectors? Even wider/more resolution? 2 projectors is 3840x1080. 3 projectors is 5760x1080. What type of PC specification do you need to power that?

  • @MrPooprscooper Do'nt worry about the bulbs man, if you're playing that much that you're killing bulbs - then it's worth it. I have had several projectors and it takes maybe 3 years of constant use before it blows.

  • @elmalloc I can't detect any visual degradation with the edgeblending software nor is there any detectable lag. This is especially critical in my driving games where a split millisecond delay could mean a smash. So far most of the big name games I play support my triple/double projector with Warpalizer setup....Battle Field 2/3, Crysis 2, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit/Unleashed, Call of Duty black ops, RFactor etc all run fine but there are the odd games that don't support multiple screen res....

  • @elmalloc I switched from 3 720p projectors to 2 1080p projectors as I actually only need 2 to fill up my screen. I used to have 3 wooden panels as a screen running without edgeblend software and I didn't want a line right in the middle of my central screen so 3 projectors was the only way to go at that time. Now with a smooth curved screen and edgeblend software, 2 pjs do the job nicely and is easier to edgeblend (2 images vs 3 images) You can start with 720p projectors.
