Hip Hop glorifies and exalts violence, generally speaking...So no, Rap doesn't cause deaths, but it definitely influences listeners, and it drives people to think killing and shit is cool. If artists as a whole would stop writing about stupid bullshit then we'd have a much different country. Music is a big influence in how America is.
