Made for my VM120J class with Peter Flynn at Emerson fall of '08. The project was to compile still images and audio to create a meaningful sequence that comments on a chosen theme; my theme was Searching. The composer in this narrative montage is in search of the perfect sound of life for his piece. He is in search of something that will complete his piece which in turn will offer himself satisfaction. In general, we all are doing this search for something to complete/satisfy our life, one way or another. Please enjoy and leave your thoughts!
I love the still motion, the way the mind plays tricks to fill in the spaces. The sounds were fantastic, vivid. And the notes dancing were fun.
