I could always tell that "Unsung" is only what the producers want to reveal, and NEVER the full, true story.

@stilettogroove Sounds like Jeffrey Daniel. Heard from another poster that he does that.

@jwatley1 Well said, Ms. Jody.

God Bless you for your courage, and being so real and open with your fans Jody. I truly understand the strength it takes to walk away from abuse. I had that experience in my life as well with a man in my past. But sometimes in our youth, we don't always make the best decisions. I applaud your strength, not only with that relationship, but the dynamics/events of what happened with the group. Thankyou for sharing with us. Stay encouraged as well! God Bless! : )

I don't blame Jody for not wanting to go back with this group. All of the abuse and sexism and everything else. Glad you cleared up the relationship with Daniels because I was still unsure after the doc. It was a lot more involved then they mentioned. I can't wait for your book and hopefully a movie.

I just wonder, did Jeffrey beat Stephanie Mills too! They did marry each other and the marriage only lasted 1 year! Wonder Why? Jody is totally telling the TRUTH, he couldn't even keep Stephanie Happy

I totally agree with Jody. Unsung should of got her point of view of how it was like dating Jeffrey Daniels. We the fans only see the glitz and the glamour of these performers lives. We think that they are always happy and carefree, but the truth is, alot of these people have to go through alot to stay in this business.

I LOVE THIS WOMAN EVEN MORE NOW....TELL IT JODY!!!!

@adrina911 you aren't the only one.

LOL starting at 1:44. So his accent is fake?
Beyond Jody's beauty is her strong intellect. But I found out that her birthday is January 30, and that makes her an Aquarius, one who is a truth teller
check out this link to understand Jody Watley better and why she would not allow herself to be manipulated, or lied to, or mistreated or lied on.

@nachalooman I was a teenager back then and 100 % did allow myself to be in many unfortunate situations, regardless of my birth sign. Hopefully, we all live and learn, which was a part of my message when I was interviewed for Unsung and the reason why I shared this. As with millions of people (girls/women) it took time for me to come into my own and to find the strength to step out, walk away and avoid situations and people who do not mean me well. I encourage it for everyone.
