  • I wonder who was filming this?

  • @ChiWehWeh Mike Heron. After it was done he said: "That was like a Steve Martin routine." I said: "Yeah. Wasn't it great?" He replied: "You can't use it." I said: "I want to get the director's attention." Mike asked: "By making him laugh?" Ironically, the video was never sent to Kubrick, but copies were made on VHS by college students. The internet has made a wider audience of what was once just a college cult. Daniel Tosh told me he saw the video before it went viral. Now I get money for it.

  • You are a brilliant actor, not so much the cutting you read but your perfect pompous "thespian" persona you display at the beginning. I assume at the time you believed that's who you were, but there is no way that was authentically your identity, hence, you were acting, and damn good at it.

  • @enigmism4life Are you typing your comment from "Arkam Asylum"? If so, say hello to Mr. Freeze.

  • we watched the movie, The Outsiders in our literature class after we read the book.

You shouldve been Johnny. That wouldve made things SOOOO much better.

  • @TheEpicDinosaur There are 2 different versions of the film. I spoke with S.E. Hinton about it. She and Coppola wrote the screenplay, but received no credit. They cut a lot of (what she called) "Crying Scenes" from the first assembly. Coppola tweaked it more and showed it to Warners. The studio made him cut 30 more minutes. Eventually, the footage was restored and (briefly) released. The longer version is available on DVD. However, some of Carmine Coppola's score was excised from the longer cut.
