As lifelong Star Wars fans, Jarratt and I discussed recreating scenes from the original trilogy for the 48 second competition, finally settling on the Wampa Cave scene from Empire Strikes Back (I mean, making an ice cave would be fun, right?). Starting with the idea of suspending our Luke between two ladders, we crafted a Wampa cave out of chicken wire, expanding foam and plaster of paris.

TwiceDead: You have no idea how many takes it took to get that wampa to walk casually! He kept wanting to bop his way through the stalgmites. "Just walk normally" we said.
