I'm not sure I understand, is this footage at 80% speed from the original or not?
-
yes! That's awesome!
-
my camera too, whenever i record the camera have noisy sound. It is weird
-
awesome play and you helped me alot with the description ! thanks

@hooskydawg So you're saying it took over 2 hours for your machine to render this 2minute clip? Holy crap... here's where we need Twixter to use CUDA (GPU computing). Still, the result is stellar and notably better than simply dropping 6 frames a second like I do in Sony Vegas.

song?
-
@raar99 there is no autofocus on 5d mark ii
-
The "Film-Like" feel in this video is amazing! What lens did you use?
-
Please use autofocus, you can't do it manually.

The song is Comptine d'un autre été: L'après-midi by Yann Tiersen from the Amélie soundtrack.
If you like this kind of music, I recommend the work of Ludovico Einaudi.
People complain about the 5DmkII not having 24p native, but really I think optical flow motion estimation packages (like Twixtor) render in-camera 24p fairly unnecessary.

In terms of visual quality, yes, motion interpolation packages make non-native 24p not a big deal. However, the computational power required to do such interpolation is HUGE. Rendering this video from 30p to 24p, on my overclocked Intel q9550, took roughly one minute per second of footage. So, ultimately, not having to go through that is a big argument in favor of native 24p (which, by the way, is coming to the 5D Mark II early this year!)

How does it compare to using a time stretch in AE using their built in option for pixel motion calculation?

@ufoclub1977 Twixtor uses a more sophisticated motion vector interpolation scheme as I recall, so you ultimately get less artifacts and less interpolation blurring. As you can see from the sample, every frame looks very sharp, even though only a fraction of them are original frames.
