Why are there no quint players??

Actually with the exception of a few members of The President's Owm Marine Corps Band all members receive the same training and come from various MOSs including the combat arms field. Band members then audition for band positions. Many of the band members have served in combat. Although the band itself does not serve in combat as a band it's members do with their FMF units.
